What’s Included in the bioBest Lawn Care Program?

Fertilization
Our specialized organic blended fertilizer combines organic and traditional components to ensure consistent growth and vibrant color throughout the year. Adjusted seasonally, our fertilizer nurtures the lawn while promoting healthy soil biology for lasting benefits.

Weed Control
We target weeds with precision, using a mix of spot and blanket applications to ensure the best results. Our approach focuses on Midwest-specific weeds like crabgrass, creeping charlie, and wild violets, while minimizing environmental impact.

Plant Health Stimulant
During the late spring through the summer, stressful weather reduces plants natural ability to protect themselves. Plant health stimulants applied during these times can help protect the grass against leaf diseases.

Liquid Aeration
Liquid aeration applied both in the spring and fall, boosts soil microbial activity, encourages water infiltration into the soil, and nutrient retention leading to a healthier soil ecosystem.

Insect Control
Insects can destroy your lawn. Grubs feed on the roots reducing the ability of the grass to take up water and nutrients, resulting in death. Ants, sod webworms, billbugs, fall armyworms and ticks can all disrupt your enjoyment of the lawn. Preventive treatments for grubs and curative/preventative treatments for other insects keeps your lawn looking its best.

Spot Seeding
At each visit our technician will hand seed small spots (less than 1 foot diameter) to help keep your lawn thick and lush. We use our premium, hand selected seed straight from the grower.

Summer (June – August):
- Targets summer annual weeds during peak summer germination period.
- Crabgrass along roadsides and driveways is eliminated with specialized treatments.
- Nutrition is provided if a lawn requires additional nutrients to support growth.
- Plant health stimulants are applied to help the grass fend off leaf disease and weather-related stress.
- Ants tend to proliferate during droughts, so treatments are applied to reduce their activity.

Early Fall (August – September):
- Focuses on recovery from summer stress by promoting grass growth.
- Targets any newly germinating weeds or stubborn weeds that have persisted after previous treatments.
