How To Prepare For Your Seeding Service
- Please unlock gates.
- Please pick up items in the yard. Sticks can be especially problematic as they get caught in the equipment.
What will we be doing (& not doing) during your seeding visit?
- During this visit, we’ll apply your Round 4 lawn treatment using a specialized organic based fertilizer that supports strong, healthy growth of new grass seedlings.
- Weed control treatments are paused during seeding to give the new grass the best chance to grow. Some extra weeds may appear at first, and if they do we’ll address those in the spring.
- If you are scheduled for liquid aeration, we will also perform this during the seeding visit.
How To Care For Your Seeding
- Watering is critical to your seeding success – Too much water and the seed can rot. Too little water and the seed can die.
- Keep the top 1/2 inch of soil moist – watering more frequently with lower volume is best.
- We recommend watering up to 3 times per day for the best seeding success.
- Wait to mow until the lawn is 5 inches before cutting.
- Only mow when the lawn is dry.
Schedule Changes
- Sometimes equipment breaks, sometimes the weather is unfavorable, and sometimes things just don’t go as quickly as we’d like. If we are unable to perform the service when scheduled, we will automatically reschedule your visit within 5 days or contact you to discuss rescheduling your visit.

We are committed to providing you with the best possible service. If you notice any issues or are unsatisfied with our services, please send a photo and let us know immediately. Our agronomist will review the photo and offer advice or schedule a follow-up visit to assess your lawn in person. Please note that given the continuous germination of weeds, weeds can pop up between visits. If you are on a full lawn care program, you’re entitled to FREE service visits to treat these weeds.
