Starting with an ugly lawn
When Jeff first signed up for bioLawn services in 2022, his lawn was in rough shape—thin, brown, and struggling. Jeff’s lawn was in need of a LAWN TRANSFORMATION!
He started with our bioBase program, which helped quickly address the weeds. However, going into 2023, Jeff wanted his lawn to improve more. He also had concerns about the health of the large tree in his front yard. We scheduled an agronomist visit with Patrick to evaluate these issues.
The Agronomist Visits
During the agronomist visit, Jeff and Patrick discussed the issues with the lawn and tree, and Jeff’s desires for the lawn. The agronomist recommended the following.
- Remove the large tree as it’s health was poor and the roots were impacting the lawn health.
- Treat for grubs as they were leading to brown patches of grass throughout the lawn.
- Perform fall seeding for at least two years in order to fill in thin areas and where the tree was being removed.
- Install an irrigation system to help water the new seedlings and improve the overall health of the lawn.
The Lawn Transformation
Jeff agreed to the recommendation from Patrick and the team at bioLawn got to work on the additional services in 2023. bioLawn continued those services in 2024 along with the bioBase lawn program to keep the lawn free of weeds and growing thick and healthy.
By the end of 2024, Jeff’s lawn was drastically transformed. The once brown and patchy grass is now lush, green, and healthy, and Jeff couldn’t be happier with the results.
At bioLawn, our team of turfgrass experts—each holding a Master’s degree in turfgrass science—designs our services to ensure lawn health. Our team’s knowledge and dedication have been crucial in turning Jeff’s lawn around, and we are committed to providing the best care for every lawn we serve.
