When will you receive your first service?
Your service schedule depends on the services your receiving and when you sign up. We are always a call away if you have specific questions about your services starting:
- November – March: As soon as the snow melts and lawns are ready for treatments, we will begin scheduling services. Our agronomists with Master’s in Turfgrass Science, are always watching the weather and adjusting the treatments to make sure they have the full effect and are timed appropriately for the pests.
- April – May: Yes your lawn is ready for that first treatment and we will schedule it soon. Our agronomists, who hold Master’s in Turfgrass Science, continually monitor the weather and adjust the treatments to ensure maximum effectiveness and proper timing for lawn care and pest control.
- June – October: We will make every effort to schedule your first visit within two weeks of your sign up, unless that is not the correct agronomic timing.
How will you be notified when a service is scheduled?
You’ll receive a text the day before your service. If we don’t have a cell number on file, we’ll send an email.
How often will you receive a visit?
Lawn Programs: Generally Every 5-7 weeks. While individual services are scheduled at the appropriate agronomic time during the year.
Mosquito & Mole Programs: Generally Every 4-5 weeks.
The frequency of visits can be altered by:
- Weather conditions – Heat, rain or drought may shift scheduling as we try to get the best results.
- Skipping Services – Our treatments work best together. If you are skipping services in a program, your interval will be based on which services you will be receiving.
You can always contact our office to get more specifics about your service schedule.
How soon will you see results?
The length of time to achieve your desired results can vary based on:
- Starting conditions: Neglected lawns with weeds or bare spots take time to improve.
- Service plan: Premium programs like bioBoost and bioBest work faster.
- Lawn care habits: Watering and mowing properly make a big difference.
What should you expect by service type:
- Lawn Care: Our initial goal is to get healthy grass growth. An actively growing lawn is the first line of defense against weed infestations. As the lawn begins growing, we will treat the existing weeds. Weeds like dandelions are easy to control in one or two treatments, while tougher weeds like creeping charlie or thistle take a few treatments. Because of stubborn weeds and the continuous germination of weeds, each time we visit we target weeds. This helps break the annual weed cycle thus decreasing the weed population with each application. If weed levels don’t improve, let us know—we’ll touch up under our Healthy Grass Guarantee.
- Mosquito Control: Each visit reduces mosquito populations on your property. With the goal being to reduce the population to a tolerable level. Weather and nearby properties may affect the level of mosquito reduction. If mosquitoes return before your next visit is scheduled, we have a Healthy Grass Guarantee, and will come out to re-treat for free.
- Mole Control: Our mole control program is designed to both control moles and limit their activity on your property. We treat active tunnels and apply repellents to achieve control. Over time, as mole activity decreases we use natural repellants to keep them from coming back. If mole activity increases between visits, we have a Healthy Grass Guarantee, and we’ll perform a touch up treatment at no extra charge.
Our team of agronomists is here to help. We are happy to answer any questions and provide recommendations to help you achieve your desired results.
How does the Healthy Grass Guarantee work?
We inspect your lawn at every visit and send recommendations in your after-service email. Your feedback is super helpful! Notice something Please send a photo for experts to assess and make a plan to fix it. Between visits it is possible for weeds to re-establish, mosquitos to hatch, moles to become active, or something else to change. If this occurs and you are on a full program, you get FREE touch ups. Let us know and we will schedule a service visit.
